Ray Allen?

Anthony Morrow would have been a good pickup. But, the Thunder beat you to the punch.

Nelson......hmmm

I like the idea of giving Cole and Napier a chance to shine.

I highly doubt Allen will go back to Miami. He is in ring chase mode now.

So according to Ethan the issue with Wade/Haslem isn't money......It is the length of the contract

If Miami can get Boozer & Nelson, the starting lineup would look like this

PG- Nelson
SG- Wade
SF- Deng
PF- Boozer
C- Bosh

BN-Cole/Napier
BN- Granger
BN- McRoberts
BN- Bird/UD

Still need a shooter or 2 as I said on another thread[/QUOTE

Can't sign nelson for another month

Nobody is bidding on Boozer because his contract is terrible.

The Heat should not sign Boozer. They already have 2 good 4s. They need a 5.

Ummmm, they would only be paying the portion that they bid on.

The Bulls pay the rest.

There is no way Boozer clears the waiver wire.

His contract stinks. But, he can play.

Someone will get him for 2 mil a year and the Bulls will pay the other 16.

Monday Morning Quarterbacking here...

But, could the Cavs have kept their young players and picks had they just done a sign and trade with the Heat by swapping Deng for Lebron?

It worked out well for both teams, regardless.

I'm just wondering...

Monday morning QB?
I've always thought Deng was the best roster option since James left, as long as it was around 10M.

The 2 years just makes it that much better.

James can never be replaced, but no franchise or GM is better at regrouping then the Heat.

I highly doubt Allen will go back to Miami. He is in ring chase mode now.

Not sure he will uproot his family to move to Ohio for a year.
He's on the golf course everyday.
I think he'll prefer just to stay there.

I agree.

Jones is more likely to come back. He is a Miami boy. Born there, went to college there, and played with Miami for about 5-6 years now

Yesh.....He got traded to the Suns.

But, sat out the whole year.

Nerve damage or something similar....

The Clippers could send you a gently used Ryan Hollins:nod:.

I'd rather have the ghost of Oden.

I'm thinking Heat will have a spot for either Jones or Beasley.
You know where my vote goes.

:agree:

I would have liked to see them grab Blatche.

Since Minny is dead set on dumping him, what you be on board with trading for Kevin Martin?

He or Evan Turner would be a nice insurance policy in case Wade goes gimp.

I think Martin's salary is about 7 mil.

So, Turner would likely be the cheaper option.
