After spending money on Livingston, doesn't that pretty much take up the rest of GS's cap space?

Melo and Bulls had a nice visit but nothing really ro report. Not good news for us Bulls fans. Idea of playing with Gibson and Noah intrigued Melo but overall nothing excited coming from the Visit. Time for Plan B for the Bulls.

Melo needs to go to the Bulls. The ECF would be worth while to watch again. I"m tired of seeing the Pacers being the only semblance of a challenge in the East.

The Heat's going to have to settle for the plan B players. I never thought that the Heat would get Gortat, nor did I think they needed him. But I wouldn't mind trying to aim for Lowry, even though I think we'll likely get Jameer Nelson. At 5 years, $60 million - I would say that was a bit much for Gortat.

The heat are probably going to have to settle guys like Kaman, Hawes, or Okafor at center. And guys like Nelson, Vasquez, or Chalmers at PG.

Probably. Still though, if Nelson signs as a PG, the Heat haven't had anything better at PG during the big 3 era. Nelson can hit the 3 and has more quality that Chalmers. Same thing with Hawes or Okafor. The Heat needed to retool quality pieces. I knew Gortat was a pipe dream along with possibly Lowry. The only player I think the Heat have a chance at who's a 2nd tier player is Gasol or Ariza.

At this point in their respective careers, I don't think Nelson is as good as Chalmers. In my opinion, Chalmers is the better shooter & defender. But Chalmers is Miami's punching bag.

Chalmers play ZERO defense. Cole is actually a much better defender.

Chalmers falls asleep on defense far too often

No matter what, just let chalmers walk. Gasol would be my next priority.now that gortat is gone and lowry is unlikely. .

If Chalmers come back it better be on the veterans min. No way should he get 3-4 million yearly

I would takes Hawes over Gasol, but he will be out of the Heats price range.

I feel strongly that Gasol leaves L.A. so he very well might end up coming.
Miami appears to be his best option to play for a couple more championships.

Next, I see a Marion return.

Of the PGs out there, Thomas intrigues me, but not sure what his price tag would be.
I don't want Nelson now, I did 10 years ago.

If we can improve our bigs and wings, I don't mind Chalmers coming back.
He had a rough end of the year, but really, other than James the whole roster did.

No question the Thunder are the best option for Gasol over the next 2 seasons.
