Linsanity.

Jeremy Lin: 27 points, 11 assists, 2 rebounds.

Hit the game-winning 3-pointer and scored 12 points in the 4th quarter.

idk about u fairies, but im on team solo. and no matter how lesbian rapino was, she did look kinda hot during the games. especially when she was crossing in the ball from heaven to find the equalizer against brazil in the dying minutes. wambach was a bit of a heart throb as well because of her flair for the dramatic.
i will never forget ian darke "ABBY WAMBACH HAS SAVED THE USA'S LIFE....In this world cup!" i referred to her as "the lifeguard" from then on. then the japs got revenge for ww2 in the final. we should have crushed them, but messed up so many easy opportunities.

i do realize there many have been some things that weren't exactly PC in that statement, but i plead the first.

HA! The author of that list really hates land grant football schools.

Seems like to me that's more of an example of slacker reporting.

A brainless article with absolutely no basis. Need I point out that the Huffington Post is the ultimate in slacker reporting, as they just re-post articles?

Journalism isn't what it used to be, except for the fact that it was always completely biased.

Sorry, but I won't be signing up for Team Solo.

Watching her on "Dancing with the Stars" was painful. She had the grace of a tethered giraffe in a fringe outfit.

If you're going to be on a "former Dancing with the Stars contestant" team, might I suggest, Audrina Patridge. They could have had a video feed of Audrina eating cereal, and it would have been better than having to watch Hope Solo attempt to dance. In fact, they did give Audrina a reality show based completely on her looks, and it was probably about as good as any other video show, which is to say it wasn't very good, but at least it had Audrina in it. But I digress.

The point is they should never have filmed Hope's attempt to dance, as it showed definitively that dancing requires more than just athleticism.

I just posted Solo because she was mentioned. I dig the female athlete, but Solo is a little too manly for me. I prefer the female athlete who knows how to handle a pole...

it was also a collegehumor.com article, not huffington post

Hate to interrupt this thread with a football related post, but has anyone noticed what's happening to the TCU football program?

3 key defenders among football players arrested in drug bust on TCU campus

It's been noted on Twitter that the players have been taken off the TCU roster. Additional information indicates that the coach has ordered a drug test for the entire team.

OK, Allison Stokke gets my vote if athleticism is a priority. That picture is awesome.

Not a Hope Solo fan or Womens Soccer fan. I knew a couple lez VT Women Soccer player, and one that was clearly in the closet. Not as many as the Softball team had, but wayyyy too masculine for my liking.

Not a great pic, but you can't argue with the "talent" in it:

Bob Ballou @KEYESportsBob
Affadavit says TCU DB Devin Johnson told an undercover officer 82 TCU players failed a surprise drug test ordered by Gary Patterson Feb. 1.

Let me repeat that...82 TCU players failed a surprise drug test ordered by their head coach on February 1st.

How many other programs would find similar problems?

82 seems high but I bet every ACC team would have half that. Miami and FSU probably the most.
