My favorite part about this "expert analysis" is when they say "Isn't a real "burner", and relies more on quickness"

They are talking about someone who ran a 4.28 forty at the combine

Their is a difference between speed and quickness. Startup and when he already going.

Everybody can't get picked in the 1st round, some players are gonna be projected wrong that is what is so great. They have something to prove and certain teams benefit by making the right picks.

Well, I tell you then, man - maybe you should go into the talent evaluation biz, or start up you own web site, giving the real lowdown on who is and isn't ready for The League. Might be quite the spectacle. This is from the first article linked previously:

WEAKNESSES Does not play at his timed speed in terms of consistently running away from defensive backs. Doesn't have the elite athleticism on the field to elude NFL-caliber defenders in space, and his strength is not enough to run through pro linebackers and defensive backs in the second level.

What's your problem dude.....didn't like those stats against a common opponent did you.........kinda messes with your world view that "they pick the best players" doesn't it.....sorry to bring up reality. Jeremy Lin talked about this on 60 minutes a couple of weeks ago. When asked why he didn't get a D-1 scholarship or get drafted by the NBA.....he just kinda laughed and said something like "I don't look the part of what they think a basketball player should look like".......I guess Swope "doesn't look the part to be a first or second round draft pick"........those slots go to the "real athletes" I guess.:rollseyes:

I really don't understand why Bell was drafted that high, I think he overrated. Big and powerful, but slow.
