Still trying to figure out this whole "measureables" thing.....and why the NFL bothers to have this combine:

27 pick overall: DeAndre Hopkins:

40 time: 4.57; Reps 15; Vert 36; Broad 115; 20 shuttle 4.50; 3 Cone N/A

Not drafted: Ryan Swope:

40 time: 4.34; Reps 16; Vert 37; Broad 125; 20 shuttle 4.25; 3 Cone 6.76

Well now.....under every measureble Swope is the better athlete......and he played in the "best conference in human history"......so why is he getting ready to sell life insurance in Omaha......and DeAndre is working with his agent over a contract worth millions......I'll bet Swope's mother is wishing she had named him "Don'Tavius" and encouraged him to grow dreds.......LMAO at this "draft" of the "best players"

I wish I was better at detecting your seriousness.

That's just it. They're measurables. They measure certain athletic abilities, not your ability to be a WR. Analysts and scouts will tell you that not much stock goes into the combine. They might watch more tape on a player after the combine because he has measurables that stand out, but being able to bench press or jump further or higher doesn't make you a better WR. I'm not sure how else to explain it.

Are you literally retarded or do you touch yourself while you troll?

"Trolling" would be a term applied to those who make personal attacks such as calling folks "retarded" and implying sexual acts....but I'm sure you knew that and just choose to ignore forum rules. My posts are chock full of facts.....what you choose to do with those facts is a "you" problem.....don't try to get me involved with personal attacks......it doesn't behoove you.....just sayin':2cents:

Then why does the NFL have the combine and ESPN broadcast it live.....its just a joke.....seriously? I realize you don't know "how else to explain" why Ryan Swope is being disrespected like this.......I think the one "measureble" at play is quite simply melanin content.....:gaah:

not better than seattle's imagination. Actually when said play happened. I got mad for about a second. Then i thought about the irony of the play, since two hail marys cost Russell Wilson a chance to play for the national title in college. Then I just got on twitter and watched the world go mad. I enjoyed the whole thing, it was great theater. But lets not pretend that was a catch.

Does it really matter if it was a catch or not? The fact that you even bring it up is proof of ass-pain.

Once again, I can't tell how serious you're being.

That answer is simple...Revenue and making the NFL a year long sport. So they don't have the kind of dead period during the offseason that a lot of sports have. People are interested in the draft and the combine is a revenue source.

Any Gators in here that can tell me about TE Jordan Reed? Shanahan compared him to Aaron Hernandez

He's big, and learns the playbook well. Problem is we tried him out at QB and moved him around and switched up our schemes so much he never really had sustained success. But he's not a selfish guy and is a good blocker. If you guys have a stable coaching staff and a decent QB he could be a very dependable player for you.

versatile player. was originally recruited as a qb. never really got the ball enough to be hernadez right now but potential is there for sure. 6'3" 245 runs well after the catch.

liking the Chiefs draft so far. course pick #1 was a no-brainer. LOVE the Kelce pick, not nuts about Knile Davis but i DO understand needing another back to complement Jamaal Charles. imo B- so far...

Sweet, thanks guys. Should fit in quite well in our offense. I'm sure RG3 is thrilled.

It's not a track meet junior. DeAndre is a better football player.
