The #Dolphins want to re-sign RB Steve Slaton. If he re-signs, that's one of the best backfields in the AFC. Loaded if all 3 are healthy.
Not really.

One of my least favorite players in the NFL, Cortland Finnegan, signs with one of my least favorite teams. Fitting.
Interesting that Alex hasn't had much action this early. I don't nearly place as much value on him as most people on this board have, but I would've imagined a couple of teams (Seattle?) would've kicked his tires by now? It's still early though so we'll see.
Not really.
I didnt see Braylon Edwards on there

Maybe that means that Manning to Miami is not happening. No Marshall. No Wayne. Who else out there would be interesting to him? I know they are going after Hutch, but this doesn't bode well for the Phins.
Peyton Manning has Broncos among top two choices on list - The Denver Post
The four teams still alive in the Manning derby are Denver, Tennessee, Miami and Arizona. The Houston Texans backed off after they told Manning representatives they had virtually no salary cap space and needed to arrange money to have any hope of re-signing free agent Mario Williams. San Francisco is no longer in on Manning, according to an NFL source.

Something's up. The 49ers essentially hold all the cards in this negotiation even if other teams are interested. Whatever differences there are, obviously the 49ers are not budging and thus are not afraid to lose Alex. This makes me feel as if Colin is close or we have a plan B in place.
I'm sorry, but was there a point in time where we were "in on Manning"?
