This trade means the Broncos are now among the richest teams in the NFL in terms of 2020 NFL Draft capital. There are already a number teams with multiple first-round picks, but the Broncos are loading up on top 100 capital.

I hope we keep each and every one of the top 7 picks. If they are used wisely we could see an infusion of talented youth next year. If we trade up use those last 5 picks and let the draft come to us. BPA is the way to go. This team either needs better play (offense) or an effusion of youth (defense). A smart productive draft in 2020 could right the ship in Denver.

Not according to Over the Cap projections. My best guess is our signing of Jawaun Jones offsets Shaq. And one of those has played better than the other. 100% guess. (but come to think of it, it was probably Roby that offset Jones)
Our outgoing players that give us a projected pick are:

Billy Turner - a 5th
Max Garcia - a 7th
Tramaine Brock - a 7th

Denver hasn't ruled out resigning Chris Harris Jr., and that is why they are not overly concerned about trading him. I believe they are asking a 2nd round pick current.
