This is like saying, little timmy passed every open book test we gave him this year, so no reason for him to take the mid-term, we will just give him a passing grade on the class.

If we start out again with an offense that struggles to put up TD's until the second half of games... expect to see alot of harsh remarks out there.

All depends on your Griff take, and how you feel about the helpfulness of playing your 1s in a 4th preseason game. Gonna feel differently, depending upon how you feel about these 2 things, IMO.

My take is that you are supposed to look good in practice, especially when you cant be hit. I think, if we are going to go down this road he needs the live reps. He needs to actually learn to avoid the contact. And if you KNOW in the back of your mind you cant get hit, you do tend to worry a little less about the defense and can put more focus on making the passes and reads. Come week one, we need to lean hard on the ground game and hope the defense can be good. Because im really not sold on our passing game presently.

I agree Griff has not looked en pointe. Thing is, my expectation is that we will see a completely different looking O and game plan come week 1 in Houston. Could be very, very wrong...and not saying there are not legit reasons for concern...but I do believe a small part of the possum theory.

Would also be SHOCKED if we didn't see some read option in that game. No way Jay, a supposed offensive guru and QB mentor is not going to game plan to Griffs and the Olines strengths... It serves no one to have Griff look terrible...unless perhaps your last name is Shanny and it's the last 3 games of last year.
