basically paying about 25.63 a game for 11 games if you just get the regular not including tax

I stopped that 5 years ago. I just go to the local sports bar. No voice but its ok and way cheaper than NFL Sunday Ticket. Where are you from countryroads316? I actually think 8 games will be televised in my local area of Rhode Island.

two Beers $4 each so $8
15% tip on $18 $2.70

So $20.70 IF you eat nothing but a short stack of wings, and have only two beers in a 3 hour period.

Flip side is Im cool with a sixpack, my grill and smoker so I can eat what I want, I can actually hear the commentary. And at the end of the day, my TV is bigger than the average screen at the sports bar.

I first got DTV last year and the Ticket came free for a year. They told me I can re-up every 2 years and get the ticket free every other year.

I don't eat there. I nurse a beer for 3 hours, watch the game, and leave. they don't care.

some program. im all set. im not taking the risk. I got the pre season games DVr'd and the sports bar is 10mins away from me.

DirectTV isn't going to tell you this, but Sunday Ticket is negotiable and sometimes they will even give it to you for little or nothing. If you aren't still under contract, tell them to put you through to the cancellation department...wheel and deal with them, don't even bother with customer service. If you want to roll the dice, wait until after the 1st or even 2nd game, then call to sign up, you can probably work them down to the 1/2 season price after the 1st/2nd game.

he is right , the minute you threaten change they will give you a deal . me personally i go with red zone . i found that when i had season ticket i did what red zone does for me anyway
