So looks like Briles is basically unemployable now. You can get away with hiding drug use, you can even get away with having teachers fudge grades to keep a kid on the able to play and receive scholarships list... as I find it real hard to believe some of these pro athletes graduated college, much less maintained a 2.5 GPA. But when it comes to allegations of sexual misconduct, there is a zero tolerance policy in effect as it should be.

boy that isnt good all we can do is pray
As crappy as it might sound, some times death does equal peace for some one that has been sick/damaged as long as Ali has. To me he will always be the greatest of all time, and I will be sad to see him go... But he has been gone a long time. The person we see on the TV from time to time is just a shell of his former self.

I kinda see it like a family member that i remember good time with, who has come down with a debilitating disease. Part of me wants to hold on for the memories, but part of me hopes Im wrong and that by letting go, they go to a better place.

A persons life is an entire entity. I think Ali's life is perfect proof of that. He did many great things as a young man, he would have also told you he might have done some of them if he knew what he had learned as life went on. Hopefully we all grow as much as Ali did as he aged and although I was sad for him having Parkinson's I was always happy to see him.

Boxer, civil rights activist, humanitarian. I know a learned a lot from this man as did many of us. I understand your statement too but I think Ali was at peace with his condition. Like a football player he gave something to get something.

I don't think I ever rooted for him in a fight. But as time went by I rooted for him as a man. RIP champ.

PS: wish the game of boxing was 1/10th of what it used to be.
