i think the defense is more stabilized when he is in the lineup. weber is a horrible rental and shouldn't be on the ice.

I didn't like them playing Weber two games ago. I thought it was a poor move by Trotz.

Wearing my jersey and hat .... Go Caps!!!

Lets face it, the Caps have once again been the worlds greatest tease.

Looked great during the regular season. Managed to muscle their way into round two of the playoffs.

And now they are going to get totally man handled by the fraking Penguins in round two.

In the past 5 years, have we ever gotten past the Rangers AND the Penguins in the playoffs??

And yet again... the Caps snatch despair from the jaws of hope.

Well onto next season.

Double minor cost the team 2 goals. Like I said, he doesn't help much. Losing Alzner hurt. Penguins outplaying the Caps for most of the series hurt more. Trotz = Boudreau with a different system. If you bring in a mediocre coach you get mediocre results.

Kudos to Justin Williams, TJ Oshie, Ovechkin, John Carlson and Jay Beagle for a good series. Not so much for the rest of the team.

The Fuller household

OK so just think about this for a second.

They had four sons. All four made it to the NFL.

The odds of that happening have got to be ridiculous.

And if Dad does anything with his days besides go fishing and work on his lawn.... I would be shocked.

Archie did a pretty good job raising QBs as well

Archie was already rich and could afford the time and effort it takes to raise a group of kids with the singular ambition to be NFL players.

I got to give Mr Fuller the nod on this one as i know what its like to try and feed and house 4 boys on a middle class pay check.

Money and pedigree helps no doubt but you Still have to have talent to succeed. The odds for either family is pretty crazy.

IM assuming this is a baseball thing, in which case... I really dont understand. LOL
max scherzer of the nats struck 20 in 9 innings. only randy johnson, roger clemens, and kerry wood have done that in MLB history. i got to watch the game. pretty cool.

And another...:tsk:

The players union did this to themselves. They wanted longer off season and less OTA's for conditioning and such. Then they wonder why 3-5% of the league is out on IR before any one has even played a preseason game. To me its like starting your $250k dollar sports car and doing a burn out from your drive way. These players dont have proper amount of time to get into football shape, and the coaches are trying to cram 50LBS of shit into a ten minute time window. IM actually shocked we dont see alot more of these injuries.
