No surprise the correlation between wins and good QB play

Which is EXACTLY why I was onboard the trade up for Griff rather than using the picks to build the rest of the roster. It's no secret that you need a top QB, not a good safety and a couple of solid linebackers, to win consistently in the league.

I was just thinking about him last night. Even with DJax out WR is a loaded position for us yet the reports are out that SM had Cooper rated about Scherff and he would have been the pick.

Last year was the first year I really followed the draft pretty closely. Prior to that, I invested nothing until training Camp. I've never followed CFB. It's fun to follow the players that we might have chosen to see how they do on their respective teams.

It's less about 'what if' we chose them scenarios for me, because there are too many other factors involved in why a player succeeds, but there is a piece of that involved. It's more about following the arc of the process in terms of pre draft analysis and ensuing success that intrigues me.

So this season, I'll be eye-balling Kevin White/Amari Cooper. Also how Ereck Flowers works out at LT for the Gnats. Vic Beasley and Leonard Williams with interest.
