Yeah, that was my take as well but it's still a pretty big gamble with his history of injuries. We'll see! Meanwhile Broncos fans are sitting here waiting to hear if Romo is coming to town. Raiders have been pretty quiet. Do you think they'll land AP?

The Texans pulled that ace right from under that sleeve, by dumping Osweiler!! What a move.
Now Jerry Jones has the upper hand as he can hold onto Romo for a draft pick!! Cuz he knows that both Denver and the Texans what him.. That's some interesting developments on that front.

And as for AP? Hard to say what Reggie is thinking.. I would prefer Murray as we developed him, and he's dang good player! But i mean, AP is AP dude, so i won't cry if we get him..

We ain't real active in FA as we have some pretty monster contracts coming up man, but im sure we will get some players here and there.

Kind of puzzling- Smith is the posterboy for why the NFL drags its feet when it comes to reinstating players; Josh Gordon is more a tragedy of NFL rules with weed.

He is also the poster boy for the NFL showing that if you have talent they will give you an amazing number of chances to get your life right. At this point though I think he should be just about out of chances. He hasn't shown any kind of change in behavior and doesn't really seem remorseful about this most recent one.

Yeah Aldon Smith keeps blowing the chances the league keeps giving him. Nothing anybody can do about it, cuz it's his choice.. Hopefully the dude gets his head together..

Patterson is going to blow up in this RAIDER offense. His game is perfect for the high powered offense the RAIDERS play!! Being a 2 time All Pro returner is just the bonus.
Coop, Crabs, Patterson and Roberts will be a tough cover for ANY team!! And we ain't done yet..

Well appreciate you guys letting go of Bill Musgraves. Can give us plenty of inside information on the Raiders and a guy that did a great job coaching up one of the best young QB's in the league. Now get to see that knowledge passed on to Paxton Lynch.

Also just so the rest of the AFC West knows the last time the Broncos changed OC, DC, and STC all in the same year they won a Super Bowl that season. So as much as people like to think this could cause some chaos year one this could actually be a huge boost for the Broncos.
Good luck with that. Musgraves play calling left a lot of us Raider fans scratching our heads. Carr developed on his own...he's very talented. Musgrave had little to do with it imo.

Todd Downing actually worked more with Carr than Musgrave did.

Funny how we as fans always want to downgrade what a player or coach meant to the team once they leave. Not like Carr is the first QB he has mentored that has gone on to have success. And he won't be calling plays in Denver. That will be McCoy.

Like how your fellow Denver fans downgraded JDR when he left Denver?

Todd Downing actually worked more with Carr than Musgrave did. I posted that after the comment you chose to quote and you ignored it.

I have said plenty of times if Del Rio coached like he did in 2013 for the Broncos I would have greatly missed him. It was his worst defense with the Broncos but they lost 9 starters that season on that unit and he had to get creative. When all those guys came back and then they added Ward, Talib, and Ware to the defense he got lazy in his playcalling. Everything became vanilla and it was "our 11 are better than your 11" instead of thinking coaching can take that unit to another level. Then of course in 2015 when he left and Wade came in and he helped take that same group of players to as some have said a top-10 unit all time on defense yeah that is why Bronco fans were not too disappointed to see Del Rio go.

And what is there to say about Todd Downing? Great he worked with Carr more last year. That doesn't mean much. QB coaches always work more with the QB than the OC. Kind of what that job suggests. How will Downing being as an OC? Nobody knows at this time because he has never done it before. Same with the Broncos new DC in Bronco fans are excited to see what he brings but we have moved from a known commodity in Wade to an unknown.
