I am not quite sure what your point is? Chase was lining up against the number 2 DB last night and Tee was hardly targeted. Now if Jamar is available, I would take him.

Terry McLauren had 1 catch for 10 yards against Philly and 2 for 19 against the NYG.

Justin Jefferson had 2 for 27 yards against the Bears 3 weeks ago.

I think what he is saying is Chase needs Higgins. Chase got locked up against Kansas City. 4 rec 35 yards.

There's no way he's saying Higgins is overrated and undeserving of a new contract or only good because Chase takes the heat off

if we dont get tee then no big deal

Nah, what im saying is, Higgins is now under a microscope. If he doesn't ball out, i think some feel he's a notch above noah brown.
Wanting to trade for Higgins and pay him 28 mil, is different than wanting him as a hot FA.
Still depends on cost but I think he would've made a great addition. Im done talking about him

I am well aware of both Higgins last night and McLaurin a few games ago.

My point is that finding another WR does not have to be Tee Higgins. There will be other WRs available through FA or the draft. I am going to leave that up to AP to decide.

Yep…there will be others available and Tee is the best available and far younger than all others.

Correct, I am not saying Tee can't play. I am saying he isn't the only one that can play. It doesn't hurt Chase or Tee that they have one of the best QBs in the league and he knows how to use them.

In any sport an opposing team tries to take one of their opponents best players away. Last night Dallas took Higgins away and Chase made them pay. Like playing the Eagles with Brown and Smith .... which one do you want to take away if you can stop either.

FA WRs that actually improve the team next season…
Steph Diggs, Tee Higgins, Amari Cooper, and Chris Godwin

Only Tee and Godwin interest me for a decent sized contract. From what I can tell, there are very few value picks we can get around 20 at WR. McMillan will be long gone. Burden and Bond appear to be decent values. Ebuka and Harris would be about right or a slight stretch at our selection.

From there, we will definitely have TM and LM. The other slots are up for grabs and this is a tryout.

This is a very interesting take and one that I've heard rumors of before.
The 24-year-old Chase would elicit a bidding war unseen in the NFL. Since Chase will be paid far more than Terry McLaurin, I wonder if the Bengals would be interested in trading Chase for TM plus some additional sweeteners?

Paul Brown is insane man. Chase is the best offensive player in the league(excluding the qb position) the Bengals will set themselves back years, i don't care if they get the kings ransom

The problem is... if they sign Chase, and they will, they are one major signing away from being like Dallas, where 3 players take the Lions' share of the cap. They have to be smart with this signing and theretalk about Burrows redoing his contract to help them keep Higgins. So, Burrows at $55M, Chase making well north of $35M, and if they decide to keep him, Higgins at minimum 30M. Three guys are eating at minimum $120M of the cap.
Now if they trade Chase, they get at least 2 firsts plus. Chase is a great player, but you have to admit from a business perspective, making a trade similar to the Herschel Walker deal will be tempting.

Btw; It would not surprise me if Dallas wants to do the same thing (trade) with Parsons!

The question is... Even if both teams are open to putting these stars on the market, will there be takers at the cost that it will take to get them.

I could def see both Chase and Parsons being moved BUT thats a huge risk. I think at least in Cincinnati that would really Hurt Burrow on a personal and business level, likely both Chase and Higgins would be gone. And even with the additional picks, there's no guarantee it works out lol.
