Not on my playlist, or even on my ipod or CD or anywhere else but a radio back in the eighties.

Just some songs I remember that were...different.

I have not heard either in...decades.

I love music. Almost anything. 40' 50' Disco 70' 80' all the way up to anything current. Rock... pop... rap ... country .

But I just don't care for most music from the 60's early 70's. There are songs I love from that time span. But for the most part I dislike The Doors... Joplin... Hendrixs... Zeppelin... I do put an honest effort into listening to the songs you guys post. But the genre that most of these songs come from I don't like.

Neil Diamond vs. Van Morrison? I've already over-posted about my disdain of disco and forsaking the 80's altogether.
I do like some material from the 80's but have not been exposed (subjected to?) enough to really talk about it.
I survived the 60's and the music is mostly out of context with today. There was some great stuff at the time
Listening to Leon Russell "Small Circle of Friends" now probably would be misunderstood.....

I only play the card when I mean no offense and am met with a response that seems to have taken offense. Given the context of a text exchange is more taken by perception that reality as well as the volume of exchanges we have here (which is a good thing), I'd say the need for that card arises organically very often.

The way I see it, you say things and see the responses as being offended.
If you make a statement that you do not intend as offensive, why would you then assume that the response indicates that someone is offended????

I do not assume that you intended offense with a response.
I suggest that if I comment on your comment, that I'm offended!

I'm not easily offended! Especially in the context of online posting, where you get no visual feedback.
Perhaps you could alternatively, evaluate the content of the comment instead of trying to read offense into it?
