I doubt it. If they were to suspend him, they would need at least 15 days for the investigation.He will likely be suspended for at least 1 game.
Firing a Head Coach, for something like this is usually a knee
jerk reaction. We're pass the knee jerk stage.
They are gauging the negative impact on the Ohio St name, if they
keep him.
He hasn't committed any crime. Beat any wife. The only thing

job back. If I was an Ohio State fan I think I would worry about
that statement. Smith will be interviewed this week. He may
have something on Meyer, or knows that Meyer has lied a great
deal more about this, that anyone else knows.
If that is the case and Smith talks, OSU could can or suspend
him for the year. If not, I doubt OSU even suspends Meyer.
