Movies like "The Vikings" with Kirk Douglas aren't on TV much these days (although I have the DVD) but it's really good.

The Vikings (1958 film) - Wikipedia

Taras Bulba with Yul Brenner is pretty good about the Cossacks (who doesn't like Cossacks?) in 16th Century Poland

Taras Bulba (1962 film) - Wikipedia

The Professionals with Lee Marvin, Burt Lancaster and more is a GREAT "Western" set in the early 1900's.

The Professionals (1966 film) - Wikipedia

I love Vikings. Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh as well.... Earnest Borgnine as Ragnar??

There was another called the Longships??? They had a cool death things a big curved slide that was actually a blade. The guy would slide down, get cut in half and land on beds of spikes just in case.

I'd actually like to see some of the Johnny Weismuller Tarzan movies too. Used to be on Sunday AM when I was young and we'd watch them after suffering through church....

Not really obscure but you never see it anymore.
"The King and I" with Yul Brenner
The original, not that crappy ripoff with that no talent fuck Jodie Foster.
A superior musical.

"Dual"
A 1970's made for TV Movie of the Week.
Staring Dennis Weaver and directed by Steven Speilberg.

A faceless phantom Semi Tanker Truck fucks with some random dude out in the desert.
Seemed intense at the time.
Wonder how it has stood the test of time.

"Billy Jack"
A 1973 Movie about a racist Arizona town that hates a small Indian School.
Tom Laughlin is a half indian Vietnam Vet who knows karate.
And his girlfriend runs the Indian School.

This was during the martial arts craze when the show "Kung Fu" was on.

It was great when I watched it as a kid but really is an awful movie.
This is the best scene in the movie.

The Flamingo kid. It was like a cross between Rounders and Summer Rental.
