They needed to change something up at RT. Britt and Davis both got destroyed while they were in there.

At this point, I would just like to see the same unit on the field for more than 2 consecutive games.

True ... They need to lock in there positions and then go to work.. That's' the only way were gonna gain cohesiveness... We have 3 more pre-season games to figure this out...

Britt at RT was a disaster last season in pass protection and he got smoked last Friday. It definitely is time for change at that position. Hopefully he is better as a guard :hope:

Evan Mathis is scheduled to meet with the Hawks Saturday but unsure if it will happen since there is interest from other teams too. - Schefter

Please bring in some veteran knowledge.

Saw Schefter reporting this last night as well. Can't hurt to see what this guy's got.

How much Cap Space do you guys have left? Last I knew Mathis was wanting more than what he was making for the Eagles and that was still considered top dollar for the position. I also can't see this kind of move sitting well with Kam or Bennett considering they are looking for new deals and you give the remaining cap money to some outsider rental.

Mathis wants a raise from the $5.5M he was scheduled to make at Philly.
I expect we will make do with what we have and maybe grab a roster cut or maybe some teams PS guy.

I think free agency can humble players, he must of thought that when he hits the free agent market teams would be calling his agent inviting him to their camps but I dont think that is the case right now there is no way he is making over 5 mil this season. all in all its just a meeting if he wants over 5 mil then we cant afford him and we will move on but we can probably offer a 1 year 2-3 mil contract and a chance to win a superbowl i think thats as good as it can get for a 33 year old Guard that was just cut

Only way Mathis signs is if he ready to sign for cheap. Seahawks most likely offer him 2 mil, some other team will offer 3 mil IMO. Either way Mathis is getting a lesson in reality.

Well there was talk that the Chiefs were supposedly offering something like $20 million in guaranteed money. Now Mathis himself said this wasn't true but obviously some numbers are being floated around. I don't think $2 million quite cuts it though.
