Rough early games, Improved later, now looking like what we expected.
Now we have a new problem.
In an earlier thread I mentioned the Onwenu and Wynn were not playing well together.
Our recent success has been pairing Karras with Wynn - and it has worked well!
Now with Brown back at RT, what do we do with Onwenu? Guy has been one of the best everywhere he has played for us.
Young, strong, and talented. What do you do?

I think we stick with Winn and Onwenu and try to improve that...

O line is about what combinations are working, what players feed off each other and depth. BB and the O Line coach need to decide what's best on the field and how the bench can support. I can't say because I really have not seen enough of the games but stick with what works and continue to work with second tier guys

How about putting Trent at LT, Karras beside him and Owenue at RT where he was outstanding in 2020?

Let Wynn watch a game from the sideline and think about taking a dance exercise class or two.

I too, agree about using what's working. But Onwenu is arguably our best lineman. Do you leave him on the bench?
he played 26 snaps on O and 7 on ST
So i assume he was in on passing downs :suds:

In Atlanta shutout, I noticed a play where Wynn helped the LG before attending to his LT duty.
End result he was caught whiffing between 2 pass rushers.
Bad sack occurred.

I like that Wynn and Karras are working together but if Karras can do his part, get him out of there! He is a backup

So we beat the Titans without getting Mac killed. Mac was inconsistent but was it because the o-line was inconsistent?
Karras was getting beat when Wynn had to cheat outside to push the edge further out.
Again that created a gap for a linebacker to penetrate into backfield between Wynn and Karras.
We need to fix this before Buffalo or we are risking losing our young QB.

Milano has been a thorn in the Patriots' side since he was in Miami. They don't need him to be a pain in the ass this week.
Solution? Two tight ends with Jonnu blocking and then slipping off for the screen. That will keep Milano about five to seven yards OFF the line of scrimmage. The problem will be a sixth man blitzing. Mac best be ready to get on his horse and run or have a safety valve like Bolden ready to pick him off.
