Start there. Don't start crying for Daltons head.

Also, did anyone here honestly think we had a shot against Payton Manning with the db's we have? I'm surprised he did'nt drop 40 + on us.

What happened to the pass rush? They have no heart.

If we reach 500 this season, I'll shit.

Dalton is what he is. he's not great, he's not the worst. Von Miller is a beast.

The o-line sucks, but so does Dalton. I can't even remember the last decent game he's had.

The o-line (Andre Smith in particular) struggled yesterday, but I'm not going to pardon Dalton for the rest of the season. He's thrown an INT in every single game, and more than one pick 6. Most of those are on him. Even in games where he's had protection, he doesn't play that well. He makes a few good throws, but overall hasn't really had a great game. I'd blame the lack of a running game more than protection.

he'll look great next season against an anemic schedule.

I'm not so sure. Going into last season, generally speaking it was expected offensive and defensive units would struggle without minicamps, etc. Looking back at it - with all the record breaking performances on the offensive side of the ball - I think defenses took the biggest. It seems most QB's have come back down to earth. Not sure we'd see the same results against a similarly weak schedule.

I think it's hard to know what to make of Dalton..... He's a 2nd year quarterback with a limited attack. The guys drafted in front of him - Newton, Locker, Gabbert and Ponder - have all been inconsistent at best and some of them have been awful. Currently the best quarterbacks in the league are all guys that have been in in the league for several years.

Dalton is definitely limited and he seems to press too often..... That said, if he played on a team with more talent around him, or a defense that didn't force him to always play from behind, I think he'd be much better.

I think we would see big performances against bad teams -- Not because of Dalton, but because of YAC -- Much like the Jax and Washington games earlier this season.

That's something I have been saying for quite a while. And it certainly may still hold true. Though I am more skeptical than I have been in the past due to the extent with which our passing game has regressed even if it's been against better defenses, and how bad Dalton has looked - poise, decision making, etc.

Imo, if we played last season's schedule this season, we'd look worse than we did last season. Of course that's 100% speculation.
