Oh well....I guess it's Padres @ Mets in a best of 3 Wild Card series.

I'm okay with that......but damn, it totally sucks how we gave the division title away...so there won't be a 1st round bye.
Still have 3 games left to close out the regular season, beginning tomorrow at Citi against the Nats.
They need 2 more wins to reach the 100 mark.
Almost seems meaningless at this point but 100 would still have a nice ring to it fwiw.

I'm actually glad it's done and decided. The stress over these last few weeks was brutal and really started to mess with me.
That said....I know the stakes are even higher now...and the stress factor will be too, but I'm better prepared for that and can handle it.
I hope the Mets as a team can once again play like we know they're capable of next weekend...and I believe they will.

Mets lost 5-3...to set up a potential likely Wild Card series at Citi against San Diego next weekend.
But there's also a chance we could face Philly instead. Stay tuned.
