Back to back games and third game in four days for San Jose. They need to get the lead early if they want the win, I doubt they will have the legs to catch up late.

Bottom lines need to get on the score sheet. The top line can't keep this pace up all season.

That seems to happen a lot. A team misses a good opportunity and they get scored on during the next rush. I don't know if it is a current thing, or if I am just noticing now.

Had the edge at the beginning, kassian battled back to get it close, but Clowe finished it convincingly.
Kassian asked for the fight, and Clowe was kind enough to oblige.

that's not Kassian's job anymore, except in extreme circumstances.
he needs to judge his trade-offs a little better.

I'd say that Clowe for Kassian is a pretty good trade off for the Canucks.
