Well, at least no one backed out, which is a good thing. All the kids that picked ND wanted to be here and that is key IMO. Looks like Bama checkbook was put to good use today, what a class. One day kids will want to beat Bama, not join them.

He probably knows how complicated VanGorder's defense is and has seen that even the better athletes don't get quality playing time. Is it possible VG on the Notre Dame staff has scared away his commitment?

Need him more what. That is our weakest Position. He had a chance to start right away.

I doubt it, He saw J. Smith become an All American in that system. He also saw that Smith was the Face of that D. THis was his chance to be the next great LB at ND. I call BS on him.

Well they didn't get any of the elite LB's they were going after so that hurt and who knows what is going to happen Robertson landing him would move them up some. At the end of the day some of the teams behind them landed pretty much everyone they went after and Notre Dame didn't. Also the recruiting sites are all over the place on their commits if you were to take the best case for each player from all sites they had 16 5 or 4 star guys: Tommy Kraemer, Liam Eichenberg, Daelin Hayes, Khaled Kareem, Chase Claypool, Donte Vaughn, Parker Boudreaux, Spencer Perry, Julian Okwara, Javon McKinley, Troy Pride Jr, Tony Jones Jr, John Shannon, Julian Love, Jalen Elliott, and DJ Morgan. So overall it may seem underwhelming but if they had that many guys rated that highly on one site they would have had a top 10 or better class.

Apparently Kelly said he wanted to go to ND, but his heart was with OU. Which means had he came to ND, he prob would have pulled and Eddie V and left before the season started. Kid went with his heart, and good for him. Saves ND fans from some disappointment.

I want Drob. I wish the kid was a little taller but he is a monster either way.
