Regardless of where Iloka is, trying to act like we can sign he and Jones and that's going to be it is absolutely laughable.

I know I should consider the source, but the other morning I was listening to Dee Becker, Assistant Director of the NFLPA on the radio, and he said that anyone complaining about 'not being able to sign anyone bc of the cap' was really code for 'we don't want the guy' or 'we don't want to pay him.' The cap is going to rise another 20 mil or something next year. It's not like we ever sign anyone anyway

How many can you honestly name that are better? McCourty, Thomas, Kam, Weddle, Harrison Smith, Vaccaro maybe, Tyrann Mathieu, Gipson.....I'm struggling to get more.

All of those. Then I would add (healthy) Eric Berry, TJ Ward, (healthy) Jarius Byrd... those are just off the top of my head.

Well Berry has cancer so you can't really count him since we don't even know if he will ever play again. Byrd has been hurt the last 2 years so I'll take Iloka and I'll take Iloka over a healthy Ward. Better in coverage and just as good against the run. May not lay the big hit, but better all around.
