They exceeded expectations this year, so it’s not undeserved.

Case could be made for a few others as well though.

Brian Kelly is not a bad choice.

Mike Leach would be high on my list given what they had to deal with over the off season.

UAB head coach deserves consideration as well.

Bill Clark at UAB in MY opinion should have been the winner. Program was dead for 2 years, he has brought them a 10 win season, a conference championship, and a chance at a bowl win. At UAB, that's like taking the Browns to the AFC Championship.

It’s whatever. UAB guy should have won. I could see Stoops on the list. I would have had Rhule at Baylor on there. Leach is a good call.

How does Dabo and Riley receive votes and Saban doesn’t? All 3 teams were probably a TD favorite in every game.

Lincoln Riley is up there. But Leach or Kelly is well deserved.

Rigged... Saban with his mediocre recruits, inferior facilities and general state apathy for the team should have won.
