Monmouth beat UCLA at home as well. I guess they're a solid team.

Monmouth is 3-1 with wins over UCLA and ND, a loss to USC, and they haven't played a home game yet this year.

This is a solid squad.

Monmouth is a team that plays in the MAAC, I had to look this up

after this tournament they do get another non-conference opportunity against Georgetown, who is a team that is beatable and could provide them another quality win if they can pull it off.

They're in the same conference as Iona, who is also supposed to be good so if Monmouth can avoid the bad losses that are present everywhere on their schedule, maybe this team could contend for an At-Large bid this year

It's early though, they have to keep this up all year

I knew Iowa lost and remembered Nd was playing what I thought was a gimme first round.

Notre Dame's defense is nonexistent this early of the season. Monmouth was getting to the rim at will. Vastoria isn't shooting like he did last season either. He passed up several open threes in the 2nd half.

I feel like Monmouth made the NCAA's a few times as a #16 seed in the 2000s.

They definitely have had a strong start to this season.

These guys just beat USC and continued to be a blast. I really hope we see these guys in Marc . Iona made it as an At-Large a couple of years ago, so there is some hope even if they lose in the MAAC tourney.
