Most likely he was kicked off the team. Athletic department is expected to release a statement that he is "relieved of his obligations to UNL"

Kid was so gung ho about being a husker and was the ring leader of getting other guys to come here. Under Armour all-american, top 10 at his position by virtually every major recruiting site...

Had dudes flying into KC and he would drive with them up to see games. Watched practices regularly and even sat in film rooms w/ the linebackers when he was still in HS.

Either he was blowing smoke up everyone's ass or he screwed up big time.
