But, I think its telling that like 6 different eye witnesses made comments implying McDonald was innocent. You make decisions by a case by case basis and if the indications are that the player is innocent, then why deactivate him?

I haven't heard anything about eye witnesses saying he was innocent. That would definitely change the situation. Link?

Its not his fault when his players do these things, just like it wasnt petes fault that he had players popping for peds. But that didnt stop Jim from implying that it was an institutional issue up here, while his organization remains above reproach.

Jim Harbaugh has no control of what his players do off the field. He DOES have control of whether they get on the field. If he wants to play guys arrested on felony domestic abuse charges then that is completely fine. But it appears that he is the only coach in the league willing to do so. Hey, maybe Dr. Pepper will even make a one-of-a-kind commercial for him over all of this.
