Again Earl... show me the Cheap shot about your team?? Please.. quote it for us?? thats all Im asking. As I said, it wasnt about the redskins. the only people who originally mentioned the redskins were your buddies. You just looking for reasons to defend the Star even when no one insulted it.

Once again, my post had nothing to do with you and when I said cheap shots, I was speaking in general.

We had an earlier discussion regarding injuries, which is why you made the comment to begin with. You've used injuries as an excuse this entire offseason.

Your argument that the Redskins only sustained one vital injury last year is ridiculous as is your opinion of Garcon and Davis.

I'll say it again since you seem to be distracted from the football part of the conversation, look at the Redskin's record with and without Garcon last year and get back to me about him not being vital.

The sad thing is you can't admit when you are wrong. You just dig yourself a deeper hole.

Davey you are missing the point when the words vital is used, for instance Garcon would not even be a starter on the Cowboys, so although you may believe he is important to your team, he would be irrelevant on the Cowboys. Get it? Got it? GOOD! Now go tune in to the NFL network and watch your Darling Rambo get his ankle broke, miss tackles and you defense get gashed :yahoo:

No, I made the comment because I was speaking to PDay specifically. Which is why I quoted his post.

The Redskins offense was good with and without Garcon. That's not vital importance. Losing RG3 and Orakpo is of vital importance. Not an average RB, WR and TE. Don't talk to me about record with and without Garcon. That's laughable. They were scoring with and without him. They didn't magically start winning games because they got him back. They got hot at the right time and facing the Browns, Cowboys(2), and Eagles(2) down the stretch didn't hurt either. That had nothing to do with Garcon.

You'll be in front of the t.v. just like me regardless, lol. Cowboys get their first win at home vs. Giants in week one. We get blown out week 2 at K.C. The early key game will be vs. Rams in week 3. How we respond and play at home vs. St. Louis an under rated, quality team, will define if we are a serious division winner and playoff team.

You were referencing our conversation when you replied to Pday. The one where you made excuses for the Cowboys not winning the division last year based on injury, and that I said that the Redskins overcame injuries to win the division.

As far as Garcon goes, if you want to ignore statistical facts and continue to believe your fantasy that Garcon and Davis aren't vital to the Redskins offense, I'll leave you to it. At this point you're either ignorant, or just too stubborn to admit you're wrong.

It's funny to read everyone's theories on this. I was on this site before that ever happened.

LOL, so now you're gonna tell me I'm referencing our conversation. I was reiterating what I've heard from Redskin fans dating back to when ESPN was still alive and kicking. Trust me, had nothing to do with our conversation.

And yes, I made excuses. They were very good ones and I made them on my own team's board. Deal with it. Your team overcame a few, but not many were noteworthy. You can keeping believing two average players are vital to your offense all you want. That's cute.

Bovey has a really high opinion of himself. He thinks I'm thinking of him and our conversations when I say something about the Reskins. :laugh3:

Sorry Earl. Got to call Bullshit. No one even mentioned the Redskins until a couple of Sensitive Dallas fans did. They brought the Skins into this. And No one talked DOWN about the Cowboys aside from Cowboys fans.

You guys are just way too sensitive and need to take a prozac or something. Let a Redskins fan even give the Cowboys a compliment, and you sensitive bunch are always looking for the insult to defend.

Actually Bovey is the first one to use the word Redskins. Earl used the words "Washington Fans" in a reply to PDay about Seattle. Seattle is in Washington, Right? Now odds are Earl was talking about the fans in DC, but he did not mention the Redskins as a team only their fans. It wasn't l\to long after that Bovey, a very sensitive Skin fan pops in listing a bunch of so so players as "Vital". Shark I have no problems with you, I know others here wish you would stay away, but I'm not one of them. But you gotta admit that Bovey character get's his panties in a wad pretty easily.

As far as Garcon and Davis go, one of us lives in reality and the other doesn't. I'll give you a subtle hint. You're the one who doesn't.

Davis is an 800-1000 yard TE. That's above average, borderline pro bowl quality player.

Garcon is our best playmaker, our best WR. Look at the team's record with him in the line up and with him out of the lineup and say he's not vital.

You don't have a clue.

Garcon is a good WR but he us hardly a game breaker, and teams don't have to game plan for him. AS for Davis, please enlighten us on when he hit 800 yards without adding two seasons together.

Not to split hairs with ya Manster cause you and I have talked football before.

But Eastbay dragged the redskins into this thread with his mention of Captain Kurt which we all know of whom he was refering. then earl jumped in with this little gem...

Let Washington fans tell it, they overcame so many injuries. Even though every intelligent NFL fan knows they lost nobody of vital importance besides one or two players in the season.

But its all good man.

Truth is I don't know who he is talking about when he said Capt. Kurt, but then again I pay very little attention to him in the 1st place. I already said I figure Earl was referring to the team in DC, but not "Team" but their "FANS'.

Davis had 794 yards in 2011, while missing the final 4 games of the season.

I won't deal with anything. I find it very annoying. I don't go to your board and fish for responses about the Cowboys or our fan base, so I don't like it when you come here doing it. Especially in threads with titles that have nothing to do with the Redskins whatsoever. You came to this board just fishing for arguments and nothing more. It's honestly pathetic more than annoying.

And in reality, Garcon caught 70 passes for 947 yards in his best season for a very crap team. Fred Davis' best season was 59 receptions for 796 yards on another crap team. No need to delve into their career numbers. And you are trying to convince me those players are vital. Yet the Redskins managed to win the division and score a lot of points with them both missing significant time. :L
