It's so remarkable it's hard to comprehend.

Dez clearly had possession. 2 hands on the ball, intentional shifting to the left for the lunge.

Dam, Dez is one helluva receiver... That was ridiculous... BUT the ball hit the ground and you can see without any shadow of a doubt with this video ... The right call was made... Dez's mistake was reaching too score instead of just securing the ball...

What receiver in Dez's position wouldn't try to do that though?

The rule is shaky but the video posted above proves it was the right call. The ball does move in Dez's hand, appears to possibly touch the ground and therefore not having "full control" of the ball and as a result, incomplete pass.

BTW - Just looked at a replay? Where have you been? It has already been determined that it was one of the most solid reversals in NFL history considering it follows the letter of the rule.
