Dam, Dez is one helluva receiver... That was ridiculous... BUT the ball hit the ground and you can see without any shadow of a doubt with this video ... The right call was made... Dez's mistake was reaching too score instead of just securing the ball...

Stating facts.

Possession in the air, 2 feet down and the 3rd step is part of a lunge.

Clear to me.

Wouldn't have necessarily won the game and the day it happened I was for sure in the camp of "he should simply have come down with it".

But possession and 3 steps is what it is.
