I can offer better then that
:suds:

Hey guys I did get offered better but wanted to wait and see if my guy is still there first. So when it comes time for your pick and you want to move back PM me if I haven't made a move yet I will trade both 3rds and maybe a 5th if it's lower than 15. That's fair market.

So since round 1 is done...What is everybody's favorite pick (other than your own)? What is everybody's surprise pick (this could be your own I guess)...

I would say best value pick at least would have to be the Bears at 14 taking Gilbert. He is by most considered a lock for top 10.

Surprise pick for me would be the Panthers taking Jordan Matthews. Don't get me wrong I really like Matthews more than most just have seen most think of him as a 2nd round guy. I think he is worth it at the end of 1 as he is the most polished guy after the top few.

1) Best pick: Khalil Mack at #6 to Houston. May be the best player in the draft.

2) Best value: Louis Nix at #25 (yes I chose my own) to Chargers. We just lost our DT Cam Thomas to Pitt and this was a huge need. Did not think he would fall to me. Perfect fit for our 3-4 DT position. Also loved Dee Ford at #31 to Denver. He may be the best pure pass rusher in the draft.

3) Biggest surprise: Mike Evans at #10 to Detroit. Thought they would go a different direction.

So is that a yes on me drafting now?

If so team needs for Browns are QB and RB so who to take QB Garoppolo or RB Hyde?

They picked up Tate in FA… Not sure it is as big of a priority anymore. Maybe a later round pick for depth?

Mack is one of my top 3 players in this draft. He is one of the few I would say for the Broncos if he made it out of the top 5 to trade the whole draft for as that is how much confidence I have in him being a top defensive player in the next 2-3 years in this league.

Nix at 25 is definitely good value. That was my 2nd choice as I do see him going in the Teens in the upcoming draft. If he had come out the year before he would have been a top 10 pick so getting him at 25 would be huge.

Thanks for the compliment on Dee Ford. I go back and forth on him. The injury history gives me pause about the kid but his play on the field is just fun to watch. I figured for this year the Broncos could use him in their Nascar package as they should be playing with plenty of leads giving them a line of Ware, Ford, Jackson, and Miller. That would just be crazy to watch. So much speed.

Evans is definitely a bit of a surprise with picking up Tate in Free Agency but then again it does give them possibly one of the best WR groups in the NFL. With the Corner position being so deep they can wait till the 2nd round to find a guy to help out that can start day 1 so I can understand it but yeah seems more like a luxury than an actual need.

Dear lord that's scary to think about - especially as a Chargers fan.

Should the Raiders take a QB in real draft? Yes they have Shaub but why not get QB Garoppolo or other QB.

I think the Raiders have needs everywhere but at least they have labeled Shaub as their starter. I wouldn't go QB because of that.

Well Nix coming up the middle at Peyton doesn't sound much better. That guy can block the sun while still chasing down a running back.

Not in the 2nd round. Schaub gives them a couple of years to be able to find their guy that they want. You look at the moves they are making with getting guys 30 years and older they want to win right now so I can't see them using a pick on a guy this early that is going to ride the bench for the next few years. Unless there is a guy that falls to them that they just can't live without at the quarterback position I say they are going to wait until the 4th round or later to look for a quarterback.

Roster QBs:
Schaub
Pryor
McGloin
T. Edwards

Adding a youngster wouldn't hurt… But I think there are still hopefuls out there that McGloin pans out. Safe to say that Edwards is a cut candidate.

Stop name dropping, just because the two teams you are drafting for have a QB so you don't need one! :bawling:
