I as the Vikings won't be drafting Carr or Teddy with the 8th pick and I hope and pray the Vikings let them slide if they are available at 8.

Which is the right call. There will likely be 1-2 QB(s) who drop to the 2nd round unless teams hop back into the back end of the 1st to grab one of the falling QB(s).

I see Mike has been doing some good reading. Teams will either trade back up into the 1st for a QB or trade far enough down to make the reach less dramatic...exactly what I did with Houston.

I'll be back on in about an hour for the Bucs pick. I agree with Bortles being the top QB picked

I was a big Bridgewater fan coming out bowl season. But then I kept reading more & more reports on how scouts viewed him & then he had that mediocre pro day. Small hands are part of the equation too. Many of the QB needy teams are bad weather cities & will shy away from small hand QB(s). I like him, but there are too many factors now working against to see him drafted in the 1st round.

Forgone conclusion that CLE goes WR?

or Khalil Mack?

Real life? I think Cleveland absolutely loves Manziel and will take him at #4.

If they were smart, they would pass on him with their first pick & hope he drops to the second pick. And he doesn't drop, grab Carr there or another QB in the 2nd round.

You may be right but here's another take.

2/26: "Cleveland's guy is (Fresno State quarterback) Derek Carr and they're going to take a different player with the fourth pick and they want to take Derek Carr with their second one (at No. 26). ... I heard that from several different places." - Daniel Jeremiah

I get how everyone thinks the QBs are overrated and that very well may be how this mock goes, but come May 8th...none of them are dropping out of the first round and 3 of them are going in the top 10 picks.

its what i would do, tho i might have traded back to 9 or something if possible and grabed Gilbert to help Hayden out in the secondary

Small hand QB in all those cold weather game?
Smallish hands. They aren't any smaller than Garappolo and people are projecting him in the 2nd round or so while not being anywhere close to as polished. Simply put: Bridgewater has the best game tape and data when it comes to on the field play. If Bridgewater doesn't go top 5, he is going in the 2nd round because his arm is made of noodles and its somehow been hidden from view
