IMAGINE what a barry Sanders would have done behind that State of the Art HOF O-Line !
Remember all those camera shots from the goalpost behind the Defense looking downfield as the O-line blew open a Highway and Emmitt churning thru w/ a lane a car width wide !

IMAGINE what a barry Sanders would have done behind that State of the Art HOF O-Line !

He must have had that line in HS too. And at Florida. Heck, me and you could have ran behind that line. Except.....the year Emmitt held out for two games, the team went 0-2, couldn't move the ball, he comes back, they destroy the rest of the league. As to the Barry comparison, great player, but if Emmitt followed the Barry model, coming out of the game on every 3rd and 1, 4th and one, or 4 tries from inside the five to score a TD, Emmitt would have averaged 6 yards a carry while his team would have 3 less rings

That's bullshit. He's a great guy, and I'm sure there's a flip side to that story. The guy did a ton of charity in Dallas and in Florida and didn't seek attention for it.
