Good team fit I would say above anything else for San Diego. Rivers has really missed not having a Darren Sproles type player to work with and Archer definitely offers that explosive playmaking ability like Sproles. This also gives San Diego what I would consider one of the better Running Back groups in all the NFL (if Archer produces).

Pretty pleased here. All 3 of these guys should be starters and all 3 are perfectly situated for our needs. Nix - for a 3-4 Defense needed a flat out nose tackle, I think Nix is the best in the draft. We just lost ours (Cam Thomas) to the Steelers. Nix should be our franchise guy, and to get him at 25 spot was fortunate.

Verrett will be a perfect slot corner. We are in a division where we need to cover guys like Jamal Charles, Dexter McCluster, and Wes Welker running routes in the middle. Verrett will start day 1 and for a long time after.

Archer will make us better in a couple ways. 1) We need a slot receiver. Keenan Allen is our outside guy - but our slot guy is Eddie Royal who has been nothing short of bust city. Also, with as thin as we are at WR the last thing we need is Allen taking KR duties (which right now he is) and getting hurt. Archer will be that guy and will be one of the best at it.

He was, but he was our best nose tackle. We now have Sean Lissemore as our starter, who is meh... He's a serviceable role/backup - but he can't carry that o-line, imo.
