I would worry first about guys not showing up during the current draft before I worry about guys not showing up for the future. Next draft if you have it in the rules that if they miss their allotted draft time then a player will be picked for them then you wont have to worry about offending anyone. Of course you cant do it know because the draft is half way over but next time it could be a option.

Yeah that was my point Nos you've given us plenty of leeway here leave a list and have assistant GM's plus we know what time we're drafting. As soon as the clock ticks down as a GM we don't have any excuse for not picking and can't honestly be pissed off that BPA is picked for us from a predetermined list. If anything the rest of the GM's should be upset that this particular GM put everyone through all of that.

All in all if one guy can't get his shit together why make the rest suffer? Who cares if you make him unhappy what about the rest? Anyway don't change anything now just some options for next time. I'm sure 99% of us would like to have the draft move along nicely and be as close to realistic as can be but waiting around for guys and having picks come in late defeats the purpose. In any case I'd like to say that you've done a fabulous job so far so please don't take this the wrong way!

Thing is nobody has just never showed up, I don't think we have ever gotten more than about 8 - 10 picks ahead of a missed team. If people just never showed up I would agree and in the past if we picked for a team and they didn't like the player or seen we made their pick they wouldn't come back.

Most people would rather pick 6 picks later than they were suppose to than have someone picked for them. Maybe next time we can ask everyone which they would rather do.

So the way we have it is what works best from what I have seen over the years, I wonder how much more we can talk about this.

Sorry Nos not trying to give you a headache you know we're just trying to help and perfect this so we can possibly get 32 strong teams in the future.

This is my 2nd time. The first time being earlier in Feb. It's really fun. I chose the Colts because I wasn't sure I'd have enough time to devote to this, but now I wish I chose a team with more drafts picks.
