It amazes me that Bradford has trade value
Bad injury history is a HUGE reason why the team has stunk. Hurt coming out of college, hurt his 2nd year, hurt the past 2 years. How do you evaluate a team when your QB has that injury history? No idea how good Brian Quick or Tavon Austin or Chris Givens are because they've had nobody backup QBs throwing to them.not me, dudes talented, your team stunk, and had no wr's......bad injury history though

Ill put it to you like this: Bradford played for the OC on the Eagles in his rookie year. Sanchez put up better numbers with the same OC and better players. Bradford and Sanchez also both played under the old Jets OC and Bradford put up better numbers than Sanchez with similar calibur players.
I suspect that Bradford is only a hair bit better than Sanchez when healthy. Bradford has LOTS of issues getting the ball downfield. Bradford puts no touch on his passes and they get knocked down at the line of scrimmage.
He is also getting paid like a real franchise QB. At best he is Alex Smith and honestly that would take some serious improvement.
Big Ben could make a borderline pro bowler out of all 3 imogivens is a one trick pony, quick turned the corner this year, austin is nothing
Sorry for the delay guys, was at my in-laws helping out with getting their house cleaned out. I figured that I had sent a list for my picks for this round yesterday, and so assumed it would be used if I wasn't on. Other than getting the car fixed, I should be on tomorrow. Night all.
hypothetical question that could probably become a thread in the NFL board...
Is drafting a strength ever better than drafting a weakness(assuming similar valued players)???
I think it's equal. That's why some teams draft BPA even when it's not a position needed. If you end up getting the BPA and it's a need I would say that's just a bonus.
That's why I added the similar valued player part... So BPA is not in factor...
I guess it would matter who is ranking them. Just cuz ESPN, NFL Network or Mel Kiper have a guy ranked better teams have their own ranking system. You could also have 2 guys with the same grade but one has a little more potential and teams will prolly draft the guy with more upside even though it's not a need.
