Charles - 115 yds (8.2 ypc) 2 TD plus catching for 42 yds

problem was Chargers offense was even better.
Rivers - 27/39 for 392 yd 3 td 0 int 127.3 rating
rookie Keenan Allen of Cal - caught for 124 yds

coming into the game, the Chiefs had allowed an average of 70 yards to opposing No. 1 receivers this season, and Allen hadn't caught for 70 in three weeks

He regressed for a stretch of 3 years but I think most people were able to recognize that his weapons and protection significantly regressed over that stretch.

Chargers are a decent team that hasnt been able to close the deal until this week

Oh KC. I was one of FEW calling them a joke on their undefeated stretch. They haven't played ANYONE all year.... and all the sudden lose to two decent teams.

Smith had one of his better games with almost 300 yards and 3 td's. One of the things about Smith seems to be that he is rarely ever the reason his team loses. He had a descent game verse the broncos as well.
