The problem is there is no guarantee in the world he would have continue to grow with the Mariners. While I think the trade was awful and just for money, I am glad he got traded for his own behalf. He deserves some sanity in his baseball life.

Sure there is no guarantee. But one thing I would’ve guaranteed is he would’ve been better than Canzone who has proven to be a DH only cause man he sucks in the field and on the bases.
