Its more so because they announced the team is leaving as opposed to people not really supporting. Either way to be honest I have been to that stadium and it is terrible

Cal will be 28 at the end of the season which isn't too old. I wouldn't give him a 10 year deal, but a 4 year deal makes sense. I mean in the end he is a DH or maybe 1B with work more than a long-term catcher. So essentially he is the next Garver.

I 100% agree that is his career trajectory but I can’t see him signing an extension for DH money. And if he gets to FA he is gone, some team will give him a solid contract as long as his production doesn’t slump mostly because he will still be able to catch not just DH.

A quick update for you. Our beloved Teoscar continues to lead MLB in strikeouts with 12 Ks through the first six games. A true three-outcome guy, 17 of his 26 plate appearances have resulted in strikeouts, walk, or homerun.

It is so weird that people come to the Mariners and can’t hit. All of these guys they’ve brought it hit fine when they were road players.
