Say what you will about Tebow sucking, this offense is fun to watch.

Huge game here. If the Jets lose, that pretty much leaves the wildcards to the North assuming none of the teams meltdown. Not sure the Jets could recover from a 5-5 record.

I like the creative formations, but this is sort of sad..... I mean, I knew Tebow didn't have a prototypical throwing motion and that he would be limited as a passer, but I didn't think he would be THIS limited. I seem to remember him making some okay throws at the college level. Do you think coordinators will start lining up in a 4-4 or even a 5-4 against the tight formations?

Good point about the Jets and the playoffs -- I'm all in on the Tebows tonight!!

yea, it does seem like an over-reaction. I half expect them to let Brady Quinn play a few third downs, slide tebow to receiver or h-back a few plays. this is getting painful to watch now. come on tebow, my ff team depends on you.

Wow. this is one of the worst games I can remember being nationally broadcast. Embarassingly bad for both teams. It's giving the niners v. Cards monday nighter from a year or so ago a run for its money (you know, the game where Derek Anderson went apeshit at the presser afterwards).

my guess is, if this turns into a playoff run, rather than a developmental tutelage, we may see some of orton/quinn

To be fair, Tebow's receivers haven't helped him all night.

Why not a screen pass or short 3-5 yard route to help the guy out?

nah...they gotta let Tebow play the season out. He's not an NFL QB. I mean, how can you be a viable NFL QB if you cant pass the ball in a passing league. THey need to let Tebow prove to his fans though that he's not the answer so they can just move on. Otherwise everytime they try to bring in a QB the crowd will be chanting for Tebow. Give em what they want now while it doesnt matter...

The coaches have to be in a tough spot. They want to win, their job is dependent on winning, but if Tebow is the QB, they'll never have success. I'm sure to an extent they're hoping this doesn't linger into next season, and with that will have to come a bunch of ugly losses.
