Seek & Sign players like Puig/Cespedes. You take the risk and spend and make them come here haha.

Tapping that market is an integral part to farm building for all teams. The risk and cost are minimal, really.

You underestimate the power held by Lincoln and Armstrong: The power to deny roster changes that make sense.

Lol realistically i don't think that will happen because they want to opt-out of that TV deal soon. That makes this team worth more after renegotiating, which will bring back a higher return when sold.

The TV deal comes to about an extra $100 million of revenue per year, guaranteed. Owners and FO's that actually care about a winning team invest extra revenue right back into the team. Only idiots with their heads in the sand who believe in the mythical Mariners "rebuilding" would think our owners or FO care about a winning team, though.
