They get away with runs like those animals!KC Marmots?
I was married to one for nearly 35 years -- she died of cancer 7 years ago. I know that she and her friends would have been offended by more "cat" names for sports teams.Good point. Could be offensive to crazy cat ladies, who by then could be in charge of the country.
I would say the latter, as opposed to the former.I'm just curious as to whether it is actually native American groups pushing for these team name and logo changes, or if it's the social justice losers leading the charge.
My FiL is an Indian. Tomahawk kind, he's not a doctor. Most of the members of the Native American Tribe that live on a settlement (not a reservation -- they purchased the land from the owners) are huge Chiefs' fans. They also cheer for the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves, by the way. To a person, they do not object to the "Indian" references.
As was said, we have White Americans deciding what is and is not racist.

Just wait until they come after New England's mascot name... Patriots is seemingly a bad word in the USA these days...Why can Raider fans still dress like The Village People? And that's during the week also
That wont happen. If it wasn't for the Patriots , this land in North America would still be governed by England, with a Queen to boot. That's fucken blimey , blokeJust wait until they come after New England's mascot name... Patriots is seemingly a bad word in the USA these days...
