While i wont rejoice in the Eagles being injured when we play them, you really think if we went in with half our line injured, a 2nd or third string QB Eagles fans would offer no quarter.

Clearly this is a mindset from a more modern yet less competitive era. Winning games matter, no matter how they come about, however the sweetest victories come when there are no excuses. The other team is at full strength and they still were beaten, no excuses, no hope that If........blah, blah blah. Looks to me like there are too many who will accept winning at the cost of being able to fully measure our own team against the best that others have to offer. Guys do yourselves a favor......don't wager on games where you are unable to see how weak teams truly are because they won against an weakened foe.

If it improves the chances of the Skins winning, yes. Any true fan would want any advantage possible for a win. You are trying to tell me that if McCoy was out tomorrow our chances of winning wouldn't improve?

Actually it is a mindset of an older generation. One that liked to win. Nightrain Lane tried to injure the other players and the "clothesline" tackle was banned because it could hurt people.

People today are too damn nice.

Would we rather win while the other team is at full strength? Obviously.

Would we rather win with them a little hobbled than lose to them at full strength? You bet.

im actually with dean on this one. you never hope for an injury but if a good player cant play then that gives us a better chance to win. is it less sweet? yeah. does it help our goal of making the playoffs? yeah.
