Have we figured out why Arizona is still a thing? Is this pure stubbornness by Gary? I mean I get trying to develop a base and giving it time to grow but it's been 25 years. It would have happened by now.

It's gotta be the tv market (4th largest in the States, I've heard).

Remember oh about a decade or so ago when the Glandale City Council voted to keep the Coyotes in Arizona? That was a good, smart move. If only more city councils could be as wise as Glendale's.

My favo(u)rite moment was Glendale taking money out of the police, fire, and sewage budgets in order to find the $25 million needed to keep the Coyotes in the desert.

It's about the number of residents in the market that they can list as "potential viewers" to advertisers when deciding ad rates.

Only time actual viewers comes into it is when the advertiser is negotiating an ad re-buy.
