Whatever?? I'm not debating the issue of my comment contradicting his, you are.
Not to be overly technical here, but to qualify as a debate we both have to be.

The silly part about that is the placement of the ball is not done with any precision in the first place. Measuring whether a ball that was placed at a spot that the ref guessed at in the first place made it to an exact spot is a little ridiculous.
That's not good enough. That's almost 10% of the pitches in a game being called incorrectly. That could be 10 pitches called wrong for each starter in a given game. You don't think that is enough to influence the outcome of a game? Think again.
Dude you are the one that trolled our conversation and started the "contradicting" thing, not me.Not to be overly technical here, but to qualify as a debate we both have to be.
More importantly they need deGrom on his AAAAA game.Wright hasn't done much since game 1. Heading into game 5 he's 1-12, with 5 walks & 5 K's.
Duda hasn't done much either thru 4 games so far..but whiff-a-lot. He's 2-15, with 9 K's....yikes.
The Mets are gonna absolutely need at least one of them, but preferably both, to step up on Thursday if they intend on facing the Cubs in the NLCS.

Maybe so, but then why not let a computer run the bases for you. How about having a computer as an ump at first, second and third. Hell why not have computers bat for you?
Kershaw now has a quality start in 7 of 10 postseason starts, yet he's not 'clutch'.
In all fairness, a quality start (6 IP+, 3 ER or less) is a pretty mediocre standard in this era....
Here's the MLB playoff ERAs the past few years:
2015 - 3.86 ERA
2014 - 4.51 ERA
2013 - 3.92 ERA
2012 - 3.19 ERA
2011 - 4.52 ERA
2010 - 3.45 ERA
I didn't lookup Kershaw's game log for the playoffs, but if he's having games where he's giving up 3 runs over 6-7, that's not particularly great.
Go DeGrom

Weird weather out here today(and for the last several days, actually). It's going to be very warm and very humid for the game. There might even be a little shower passing through.
