The Dodgers Dodged the Tomahawks and then grabbed them out of the hands of the braves and smashed them into pieces

It must be painful being an Atlanta sports fan. The bright side: It isn't as painful as being a Cleveland sports fan.

Holy crap! So close and yet so far. It's gotta be tough to be an Atlanta fan. The Falcons did the same thing last year- great season with lots of promise only to fall short. Professional hockey came to town twice and couldn't be bothered to stick around. Also, Atlanta stole an NBA team from my city 45 years ago. Has anyone seen them since anywhere besides the side of a milk carton since 1968? :noidea:

Seriously though I want to thank all of the Atlanta Braves players and fans for a good season and for playing the game honestly and hard. The organization put together a great team and they played well. It was just unfortunate for your fans that the Dodgers has really some fantastic bats. Good luck to next year guys - you're good sports

Thats still 9 times in the playoffs with winning records above everyone else in their division 9 times in a row, that's a lot more then a lot teams have ever sniffed though

Quick question cause I really never noticed before.

Is it normal for teams to celebrate with champagne and beer after winning the division series?

I understand celebrating when you lock up a playoff spot / win your division, but IMO the next time you celebrate like that should be after winning the World Series.

Not getting Kimbrel in the game at all last night is just ridiculous.

Professional lip reader...

Is that one of those certificates you order off the back of a comic book? or mail in a certain number of cereal box tops?
