Does Arizona have the type of lineup that can make Philly pay when their (Philly's) bats go cold?
They are top heavy but they have guys who have hit bombs this post season at the back of the lineup. Their 9 hole guy hit a 2 run bomb tonight. They’re really tough 1-4 though. Biggest surprise from D’Backs tonight was Gallen’s start. Phil’s pounded his fastball and he was missing spots.

Phil’s can’t keep leaving so many ducks on the pond. It may come back to hurt them.
I know people always say that but I'm way less worried about a team that leaves ducks on the pond than a team whose ducks never make it into the water.

You’re not wrong. But I want it all.

Right now, the worst thing that can happen to the Phillies is happening. They have a day off. The roll they are on right now is very impressive. They do not miss mistakes and hit great pitches hard. Schwarber and Castellanos are hitting really well. Their pitching has been exemplary.

Getting defense from Bohm is like icing on the cake.

This post-season has been so much fun, feel like as a Phillies fan i'm watching the best period i'll ever seen.
I would think you gotta win it all for that. 2007-2010 had this much success and a title

That 2011 team was pretty exciting, postseason results be damned. One of the best rotations of my lifetime.

Agree with your point though.

Yeah I actually think my favorite team was the 93 team that lost in a walkoff. So a championship is not always a necessity.
But they were kind of a 1 year wonder. In my lifetime you have the 1976-83 era, the 2007-2011 era and if they at least make it to the WS, this is shaping up to be the 3rd "golden age" (especially since it's easier to make the playoffs now). And in between those eras you had a lot of Charles Hudson, Glenn Wilson, Ben Revere led mediocrity.
