Pray for Archie Bradley. He left tonight's game after getting hit in the face by a line drive. He did stand up walk off the field under his own power.

Hate seeing this. I don't think they will ever go towards a pitchers helmet, but something should be done.

What are the thoughts on Stantons new batting helmet? I think it makes a lot of sense. It does not block any vision, but looks like it offers good protection.

Craig Kimbrel just blew the 2-out save but if it was anybody in baseball, I'm glad it was Danny Dorn in the bigs after 1000 games in the minors. Good for him and a very nice piece of hitting.

It was an impressive hit especially after falling behind 0-2, at least Justin Upton was there to make sure the blown save didn't cost the Padres a win. In 2014 a blown save like that probably is too hard to recover from, but this team was able to get past it and get a much needed victory.

I was surprised when Quack wasn't in the original BP, good to see him up and getting the job done. Kimbrel will be fine, but it is weird to see his ERA above 3 let along around 6.

it doesn't take much for a reliever's ERA to balloon, especially when it's only May.

Ownership pretty much said as much going into the season. If he does not get them to the post season, he is gone.

Making a change mid season makes no sense, IMHO. The team has clear holes which are not his fault.

I fully expect the Puds to be on a manager search this coming off season.
