I saw him hit a homerun once in AZ that was still going up when it hit the scoreboard in Center. I was hoping he'd be the Left Fielder

Mac had a disastrous spring. Not just games, but batting practice as well (stuff we fans don’t see).

He actively lost the job, and it kinda threw the team for a loop. He was penciled in as a starting corner OFer, but had such a bad spring they had to move on.

Sad, but it happens. And he was never a lock, can’t miss guy anyway. He always had question marks that never got cleared.
